Greenline - Founding Engineer: Backend + Data - Remote (U.S. only) - $175k–$225k base + equity (1.0–2.5%)
Seed-stage fintech (6 people) building automation for non-QM mortgages for self-employed borrowers. Revenue-generating, working with the largest lenders in the U.S.
ROLE: Senior or staff-level IC with extensive experience with database schema design, microservices, and backend infrastructure. This is an underdeveloped, messy area to shape and own. Resposibilities include core infrastructure, data pipeline + deduplication logic + failure recovery, and applied ML enablement. No people management, but for right person could evolve into leadership role.
STACK:
Postgres DB accessible through a GraphQL API built with Hasura
NextJS web application deployed to Vercel
yarn workspace monorepo utilizing TypeScript
Playwright + Jest testing with ~80% test coverage
